Georgia for Bikers: 3 places You Can to Visit on a Short Trip

Adventurers plan trips on motorbikes to feel more connected to the environment, milieu and the locals. There is something about the air you breathe, the wind you feel and the open road beneath your feet and all these create a charisma for you to continue your journey to reach some more milestones.

If you want to explore a new country with untouched beauty, wilderness, and adventure, Georgia can be a perfect choice if you haven’t visited it yet. Situated in mid-way between Europe, and Asia, it is a mysterious and exciting destination for many people. However, the ones who have already visited this country are familiar with the exquisiteness it holds. It is a country full of charm and beauty. Georgia is considered to be the birthplace of wine with a history of making wine for over 8000 years. And if you want to explore Georgia on a bike let’s know about some of its beautiful places with helpful insight which can ease your travel experience:

Tbilisi

Tbilisi is the largest city in Georgia, and it is also its capital city.  Tbilisi is located on both sides of the Mtkvari River. Hills and mountains surround it. It has a population of one and a half million people. You can visit these places when you are in Tbilisi:

1.   The Old Town: Must visit the old town, there are many art shops, guesthouses, and wine houses which you will surely want to explore.

2.    Tbilisi’s Biker Bar: Feel a roaring night life in Tbilisi’s Cross Riders MC Biker Bar and Club House, it is as much a club house as well as a bar open to all.

3.    The Mtatsminda Park: This Park offers a lot more than expected. It has Paris wheel, many restaurants, small bars, and an amusement park. You can enjoy a fanciful view of the city landscape in the evening.

4.    Sulphur Bath: Situated in the Abanotubani district, Sulphur Baths are very famed. You can relax there for some time.

5.    The Mother, Georgia Statue: Located on a high hill. There are two ways to reach The Statue. You can walk up or take a cable car.

Mtskheta

Mtskheta was the capital city before Tbilisi. Mtskheta is a spiritual city of Georgia which makes it very special. It is 30 minutes away from Tbilisi.  Enjoy guided visits the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mtskheta, Gori, and much more. The three most significant churches of Georgia are in Mtskheta:

•        Jvari and

•        Samtavro Monastery

Batumi

The city of Batumi sits on the coast of the Black Sea. It is a modern and second largest city of Georgia. The architecture is a mixture of Asian and European styles. There are many casinos in Batumi. This city fascinates tourists. It takes four hours to reach Batumi from Tbilisi. You can enjoy these activities in Batumi:

1.       Visit Kvariati: It is one of the best beaches in Georgia.

2.       Iveria Beach: It is another favourite place to visit in Batumi.

3.       Ferris wheel: You can ride the Ferris wheel and enjoy the view.

It is captivating to travel on a bike but there are a couple of important things which you must consider when you are travelling on a bike. To enjoy your trip fully, you must take care of these things:

  • Choose a bike which is commonly used in the country or state where you are such as Suzuki bikes, they are used widespread in the world because suzuki parts are easy to find in anywhere.
  • Furthermore, if your bike breaks down, be cautious about getting genuine suzuki parts so you can continue your adventure without any further trouble.
  • Another thing to consider is that you should choose a vehicle that offers more than just driving ease. For instance, safety, and luggage carriers, etc.
  • Keep an eye on your personal items like your luggage, passport and cell phones, etc.
  • Some places in Georgia are not safe for bikers like Abkhazia, Dagestan, and Svaneti. Stay alert if you are visiting any of these places.

People think Georgia is still an unrecognized country, but it is not. Do visit the country and make the best memory out of it.
