Travelling is one of those experiences where no two days are quite the same. This is actually one of its great advantages and joys, and it would be a much lesser experience if you found that travelling was always the same as how it was before. Part of the reason for why it can vary so much is of course because of the range of different destinations which you can visit. Even if you spend all of your time travelling, it is highly likely that there will always be yet somewhere else that you can go and visit, and this is part of the great […]

When you travel the world endlessly, dating can become hard especially for those single travellers who don’t have a base. Moving from city to city, country to country or from whackpack to backpack can prove difficult. Girls don’t want a stray guy who could leave tomorrow and guys don’t want a girl who is always on the move and unable to stay with him for a long period. Of course, as travellers we have many options to meet people on the road and these include online dating, blind dating and just meeting people in real life. Here are some ideas, which are especially useful for […]

As a first-time visitor to San Francisco, you’ll find a city filled with popular destinations, as well as a few off the beaten path. Of course, navigating the city as a tourist can have pitfalls, so we’ll highlight those must-sees every native recommends. While you missed out on the gold rush and dozens of art renaissances, there’s still plenty to see and do. Golden Gate Bridge When you hear “Golden Gate Bridge,” what comes to mind? San Francisco! If you decide to hike or bike across its 1.7 miles (while marveling at the two towers that stand 746 feet), make sure to wear comfortable shoes. […]

I have backpacked in Africa enough times to get a real flavour for this enormous continent. I normally visit Africa on short trips no longer than a month – it’s a cool way to do it in my opinion. This has also meant that I haven’t visited many African countries twice (except I can count three trips to South Africa, a brace to Senegal and a brace to Morocco). Overall though, there are over 55 countries in Africa to backpack and so far I’ve hit around 15 of them so merely I have scratched the African surface. I hope there will be more to come. […]

As you might have read, down the years I have had a few too many dates, flings and relationships. God wasn’t kind by giving me one true love to spend my life with yet. Each day I pray for just one love to spend the rest of my life with. For me, this has meant heart ache, wasted money, flirting with people who had no interest in me and being truly embarrassed in public and online by a former friend and girl who wanted to date me, but lied to me, and therefore has no chance. Thanks to Lincolnshire County Council for their impressive Ask […]
