If you are emigrating to the UK or relocating there, you will want to ensure that you are signed up for the local health care. The UK system is famous and is known as the NHS – National Health Service. NHS Registration may seem like something you can put off and do later but you shouldn’t – get it done as soon as you can. Whether it’s the unpredictable British weather, the Winter bugs that go around or the result of travelling by stuffy public transport, chances are that at some point in your time in the UK, you will fall ill. It’s that time of year again in the English capital city – time for cocktail week. Having spent about 6 years living in England and a fair bit of time backpacking my way through it, one thing I always miss are the nights  out. Years ago me and my mates used to do pub crawls in London. It’s a great spot for it. Basically London has pubs on every corner. We worked our way through all the cool pubs crawls over the years: – the Monopoly Pub Crawl (pint in a bar on every Monopoly Street) – the London Football Grounds Pub Crawl (pint by every London football stadium) – the Circle Line Pub Crawl (start at Embankment and do a full circle, stopping at each station for a pint). What always amuses me are the wacky place names in London. I picked out these five tube stations to […]

If you are a travel obsessive like me then you might love being “on the tube”. My love for city tubes, underground, metro systems, subways and trains dates back to my time working in London, for a PR Agency at Ravenscourt Park. I could have done a top 30, but we’ll leave it as 6 for now. Next station: Tsuen Wan. 1. Tokyo, Japan Japan’s Metro System is amazing. Quite how they fit all […]
