As a long term traveller, perpetual tourist, backpacking junkie and pure sightseeing addict, it is inevitable that sometimes I will embark on some cool flight routes and some unusual journeys. Today I pick out 5 of the coolest and most enjoyable flight routes I have taken in my time. 1.Guyana (Georgetown to Kaieteur Falls) The legendary aeroplane route from Georgetown to the splendid Kaieteur Falls will always rank high. Views are simply superb as your plane drifts into the Amazon basin region and over this gorgeous waterfall. 2.England – France (London to Paris) Sometimes the obvious journeys are the best and the speed and shortness of […]

When you travel the world for years on end, you end up with many stories. It is rare for me to share them on here, but now I decided I am single again so it is time again, having been into adult dating again recently. Sure I found love for real on my journeys, time and time again, but that can break your heart eventually. When I grew up in Northern Ireland, I delved into local dating a lot, and often used County Tyrone dating to secure nights on the rip with Ulster ladies. I didn’t want to name too many people on here as […]

When you travel the world for years on end, it can be hard to find love on your journey. Sometimes you don’t dwell or linger in a city long enough. You end up unstable and while I backpacked through North Korea, Australia, Italy, England and USA, I didn’t even find that everlasting love. You move on again and any friendships you developed are defined only via Facebook. Sure I found love for real on my journeys, time and time again, but that can break your heart eventually. It’s really not all so amazing. So this is why many nomads and perpetual tourists are now turning […]

As well as backpacking in mainland Italy, it’s a great idea to escape the boot shape and hit up one of Italy’s many islands. Once you have your trip booked and you arrive on Sardinia, here are 5 excellent sights to check out. 1.Football Stadium in […]

When you tour Starogard Gdański as a foreigner, you often stand out as the only tourist in town. It’s a cool city away from the touristic appeal of Gdansk and the medieval fortress at Malbork. This is why I love towns like Starogard Gdański and write passionately about my touring in places like this. I stayed in the trendy Noclegi Rekord for a hat trick of nights and loved the vibes of the city. These are my favourite sights though I also loved the bars of Starogard Gdański, a great place to meet locals by night. 1.Rynek (Market Square) The main market square, known as the Rynek is […]

As an explorer and world traveler I spend the majority of my time in hostels, some time in hotels when my financial situation is looking good and some time camping al fresco when cash’s tight – or I’m that far from civilisation there isn’t another choice. In any case, one regularly unexplored alternative is the solution that’s between a hotel and a campsite – GLAMPING. So why might you decide to glamp as opposed to camp? Additional Comfort There’s no denying sleeping outdoors can be somewhat uncomfortable. Whether you’ve set up your two man tent over a termite mound, awoken to a seized back […]

If you are going on a road trip, here are my best tips, I’ve put them into a top 5 for you and may share more again in future. 1.Sleep in your car Instead of just driving from hostel to hostel and staying […]
